The Hakko CHP TR-20-SM slim head flush-cut micro soft-wire cutter has an 8mm long jaw with rounded corners set at a 21-degree angle for flush-cutting copper and other soft wire up to 20 AWG (0.8mm). The slim head eases access to wires in component-dense areas, and the rounded edges reduce the risk of nicking adjacent components and leads. The angled head enables wire to be cut flush to the work surface. The cutter is used to flush-cut soft wire in component-dense areas. The tool is constructed of 2.0mm heat-treated carbon steel that provides durability and long life. Precision-ground holes and surfaces provide smooth movement. Nonslip hand grips provide comfort and control, and a dolphin-style curved fore-edge protects hands from cutting surfaces. An internal spring returns the tool to the open position, reducing operator fatigue. Parkerized surfaces prevent glare and increase corrosion resistance.
